I’m a qualified, registered and experienced BACP person-centred counsellor, supervisor, accredited mindfulness teacher and workshop presenter.

I am registered blind and a guide dog owner. Living with a disability has meant I have gone through ups and downs in life, have transitioned through periods of adjustment, have firsthand experience of issues of attachment, changing health needs, loss, grief and self-esteem. I understand the significant daily challenges many disabled people face feeling heard, navigating the world around them and accessing services, education, employment and training.

I am passionate about disability, diversity and inclusion, and I have lived, worked and studied with people of all abilities, cultures and backgrounds throughout my life. I understand the challenges and opportunities of living with a disability and navigating the barriers that life may present. Working as a disability counsellor with Emotional Respite Disability Counselling Service, I aim to provide an accessible, safe and supportive space where clients will be able to work through issues in their own time, in their own way and at their own pace. I am neurodivergent aware, meaning I understand people communicate differently and always aim to adapt my practice, work flexibly and make reasonable adjustments when required.
